Medium rare

It's starting to get cold again, so this is probably going to be one of the last summer outfits this year. I completely forgot that I had this mesh t-shirt so I had to use that a bit again because I personally think that it's super cool. I'm back at school again and that's why the blog has been a bit quiet, but I will get some more posts done. It is also fashion week in a few months and I've slowly begun plan what outfits to wear!

No bad vibez

As I wrote in one of my previous blog posts, Sowet69 is one of my favourite brands. That is also the reason why this set is one of my most often worn items this summer. I think it's so fun and fresh og then you also look more tan because it's white. I never really got a proper picture taken while wearing it, but luckily I've worn it so often that I was able to find some pictures wearing it anyways.

Walk with me

A little while ago I was on vacation with my family. I haven't been on vacation with them for 5 years, but this year we went to Crete, Greece for a week and it was nice to get a bit south and get some heat - in Denmark the weather changes from one day to the other. It was so nice to get some tan and we stayed at a hotel where there was a free bar from 08:00 in the morning until 01:00 in the evening, så I was a bit drink all the time. Hehe. This picture is from Chania, where we went shopping one day. I was wearing this yellow t-shirt almost everyday because it was simply too hot to wear anything else.

Wurp

Another outfit I wore at fashion week was this outfit and it is definitely also one of my all time favourite outfits that I've ever owned. I actually bought for the last fashion week but it had to be shipped all the way from Taiwan or something like that so I didn't get it in time. It's from one of my favourite brands: Sowet69 and I've wanted this outfit in such a long time so when it finally got on sale I had to buy it. I think it's so cool that it matches the pattern on my Nike shoes.

Fashion Killa

The first day at fashion week I wore this outfit. I've had these jeans for a long time, but I've never really figured out what to wear with them since I usually only wear skinny jeans. But it's become so in to have holes in your jeans so I though I would take it one step further and cut giant holes in them so that you could see the tattoos on my legs as well. I bought a white hoodie and cut it into a crop top and I think it fit quite well to the kinda DIY and distressed look. It was a bit cold in the evening, but this is one of my favourite outfits even though it's so simple.

CPHFW SS17 favs 2 - the sophomores

One of my favourite things at fashion week is to watch all the new talents and there was definitely a lot of interesting new talents whom I didn't know before this season. I always think it's so exciting to watch all the new designers aesthetics since they often tend to think a lot more out of the box.
One of the shows I was looking forward to seeing the most was HÆRVÆRK. The show was held at Christiania and the whole show was an experience in itself. A lot of the clothes was made of what looked like tarpaulin and the whole show definitely lived up to my expectations. It was something that I've never seen before and it was so refreshing to see a designer who thought so much out of the box and used to many unconventional materials.
Another designer who grabbed my attention was Nikolaj Storm who showed his creations at KADK's Bachelor show. I love how he played with sexuality and masculinity. It kinda reminded me about a bit more queer version of Nasir Mazhar with the writings on the elastic bands. I also really adore the way in which he's been playing with the proportions and all of it is definitely something that I would wear myself.
I don't know the next two designers, but they showed at the Designers' Nest fashion show so if any of you know their names, please let me know!
The first of them also gave me a bit of Nasir Mazhar vibes with the colour combinations. I really think that the jackets especially are insanely beautiful and the craftsmanship put into them is amazing. One of the models are wearing high heels and I think it's so cool that they play with the sexuality here as well.
The last designer who was implanted in my brain is very very cool as well. I love the masks and the army vibes that characterised it. I'm also a big fan of an outfit all in the same colour and I do have a weakness for outfits in all-white; so the last outfit especially could stay in my wardrobe at any time!

CPHFW SS17 favs 1 - the veterans

Endelig fashion week igen!

Finally fashion week again! I really like fashion week in the summer because then it's not so fucking cold vandering from show to show. Even though it was raining it was still an interesting fashion week, I think. The first shows that made an impression on me was of course some of the "veterans".
First and foremost it was of course Asger Juel Larsen. I was very excited for his show after his studio burned. I really did not think he would be able to get a new collection up and running after that, but I was pleasantly surprised. I was loving the references to fire that he has in his collection, as you can see on the first two pictures.
Han Kjøbenhavn was also one of my favourites this season. Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a weak spot for those kind of sunglasses, so I was clapping my hands, when I saw that all the models was wearing those. I was especially also loving that the collection was a bit sporty and that there was asian letters here and there in the collection. I've been into asian letters on garments myself a lot lately, so that made me really happy to see.
A third designer, who always manages to surprise me was Nicholas Nybro who used a lot of a bit older Danish celebrities as models instead of the young teenagers, who a lot of other designers often use. I thought it was so fresh and new with the older models wearing very "youthful" clothes and it was definitely a collection which was stuck in my brain the longest!
The last of the "veterans" who made an impression on me was of course Freya Dalsjø. I have for a lot of years been into biker inspired clothes, which was also the vibe i got from parts of this collection. I adore the more sophisticated biker style with a bit more subtle colours than the colours biker clothes usually is.
